    Yep..definitely in a recession in terms of porn sales.. Since October/November

    Anyone else feeling it? Im definitely feeling it until now. Fuck.. What are you guys doing to not lose hope?

                              You're not being more specific. What are your sites? Are all of them in trouble? What are your SE ranks, or do you follow them for organic? Notice anything in your Analytics? Did you pull a boo-boo with some text - update with a shit word-count? Break SE protocols? Are the sites on auto-pilot? How many hours a day do you put towards your sites? How many sites in your portfolio?

                              Are you drinking during poker?

                              I have a friend across the pond who is complaining about the exact same thing. I have a friend in Canada that exploded at the top of the year (both have about 10+ sites each respectively) I also have a friend in the Phillipines that is kicking ass, yet another in New York who's quit the biz as his New Year's resolution and sold 22 sites.

                              Without more specifics, I doubt you'll get any helpful responses, other than the usual, "Porn in Dead' bullshit from all the naysayers...

                                                                                      Be honest when you are selling... not just porn, anything, If u are honest enough and use the most honest Call To Action description, I bet you will have better conversion. Many people fail to sell because of two things. 1) Lack of market research, mostly Keyword research 2) Lack of honestly when you build a site or the link to sell.

                                                                                      If u are true to yourself, I bet you will understand what I mean above. It will help you get better conversion and sales.

                                                                                          January is always a killer, when people see their Christmas credit card bills come in. I thought I had an exhorbitant amount of CBs for January (9) but then did some research. Most of them came from 3 Members who charged back multiple months (I hate that!).

                                                                                          But when I checked stats for Jan. 2014, 2013 and 2012 I saw similar numbers (adjusted for # of sites, etc). I guess I blocked out how bad January can be. LOL

I have been running my site for 18 yrs comes may, I have seen lots of recessions, sales go up, they go down, but anyone trying to use the last 6 yrs as a comparison to how they are doing are using real crappy numbers...

                                                                                                                      sales are shit compared to 2005,2006, 2007 and they will continue to be until Russia stops trying to push everyone into war and works on their economy, the middle east calms down, more people get decent paying jobs and have more disposable income and so on.

                                                                                                                                                                              This is actually the very first thing I do whenever I notice something "wrong". For example, I noticed my rebills were down the last two months even tho I re-designed the Members Areas. Go back to the old designs? Maybe...but first I looked and found I raised the download limits in Oct., meaning Members could get the content faster. I was getting complaints from members about the limits so I raised them. The complaints stopped - but so do some rebills. So I lowered the limits BACK to pre-Oct. levels. Complaints are coming in BUT rebills are up. So I will put up with the complaints. LOL

                                                                                                                                                                              Unfortunately (or, fortunately) I no longer work with models who participate with their own sites. Thank God. LOL But that is a great way to increase revenue so congrats!!
