Poland/Austria = BULLSHIT!

Poland totally won that match.
For those that didn't see it, poland was leading 1:0, and at 1.5 minutes into stoppage time at the end of the match some austrian guy trips over his own legs and the ref gives him a fucking penalty shot. He scores and they tie the game 1:1

How was it correct? From every angle they showed it at here, there was that blonde fuck pushing the guy in the background, and some austrian guy tripping over his own feet and falling down while the polish guys hands were on him

If thats the case and the penalty was correct they must be showing us completely different camera angles in this country.

You know what, it actually dawned on me earlier in the week that in a weird kind of way Im well happy that England didnt qualify. I dont have all the stress and angst of watching all the bullshit of us failing yet again or getting the odd dodgy decision that costs us.

Instead Im thoroughly enjoying it watching as a neutral with the exception of being an adopted member of the Orange Army due to picking the Dutchies in the GFY draw.

I totally agree, Don't think he would have called penalty though if the score was 1-1 already. Also Austria bombed in the first 20min and should have had 2-0 from that, so 1-1 is kinda fair since the Polish goal was clearly offside.

They might have been showing stuff biased in poland's favor over here then. There was nothing about the goal being offside on Polsat from what i remember, and every channel on tv after was calling it a bad call.

All I was seeing in that game was Austrians tripping over their own feet and getting free kicks every 2 minutes. I will agree that Poland played shit for the first 20 minutes.

As for the Brazilian player, every team has foreign players. In the match against germany, the guy who scored both guys was polish. That blond guy that kept getting into a pushing fight with the polish player was norwegian or something If i recall.

He may be Polish by blood but he grew up in Germany. Swiss have Turkish guy that was born there.. You have a guy who lived in poland for 3 years and got his papers expedited 2 months before Euro. Thats bullshit. Name me one foreign player on Russian team? There's shit load of Brazilians on russian teams but they don't get special papers to become "russian".

Maybe not in the Russian team but its quite common. Poland had a Nigerian player a while back, then theres Eduardo da Silva, sadly missing but a Brazilian, as is Deco.

The penalty was a pretty weak call but Poland's goal shouldn't have counted so if there were good calls both ways the game would still end in a tie.

This is not true.
Austria NEEDS to beat Germany, but only slightly, for example 1:0.
And Poland NEEDS to beat Croatia, with one more goal difference, for example 2:0.

Both things need to happen.

The probability that both things will happen is like 3% max.

Check last few minutes, referee whistled every fall of Austrian.

Check images, the foul was but fouled by Austrian and there flew the ball.

Fact is that it was un-fucking-believable stupid to jump on a guy like that when he can see the ref is standing in front of them. You simply don't do such things when you're entering overtime. Penalties are bound to happen when the ref has stopped the game a few times to ask the players NOT to pull and fight each other like that.
