Chuck is also an idiot. I'm tired of hearing about drilling in ANWAR. even under the best estimates ther are about 11 bilion barrels of oil up there. Sounds like a lot, but even if we could suck it out all at once it would supply our nation with oil for only 15 months. Even if you spread it out over 25 years it would only supply us with only 5% of our oil needs daily. So what gas drops 15¢-20¢? We have cars TODAY and not just hybrids that get over 30 MPG and if just half the people that currently have gas guzzlers when they buy a new car would buy a car that got at least 30 MHP we would save more oil than you'd get out of Alaska many times over. Besides it's going to take YEARS if not a decade before even one drop of oil would come out of ANWAR. People can buy cars TODAY.

Chuck aligns himself with idiots like Glenn Beck who won't even use CFL bulbs even though THEY SAVE MONEY. I'd understand his anti-CFL stance if they were more expensive. They aren't. So you save money and you use LESS electricity. Now most powerplants are run using coal. So you use less coal and that in turn means more supplies of coal which drops the prices of coal which in turns drops the prices of ALL enegery sources including OIL.

Shh soon people will say but CFL bulbs have mercury in them and require special disposal which will cost us more money and hurt the environment in the long run. Same people also fail to realize they have about 4 mg which would barely cover the very tip of a ball point pen. Anyone remember thermometers and how much they have, oh I digress. Even though they have tiny amounts of mercury and with each advancement the amount lowers people gloss over the fact that burning coal releases the most amount of mercury into the environment and CFL's require less energy and thus less coal burnt.
