    Greece at Euro 2008 being booed by fans for boredom...

    Even the commentator states ".. that's the way the greeks play and even their fans here are not enjoying it."

    I was neutral on this game, but now I'm hoping Sweden wins it.

    "They're not going to win any prizes for football, Greece." states the commentator.

    And the fans BOO like crazy!

      I remember them always playing this way.

      I guess they were the least attractive playing team to ever win a Euro championship.

                          Is it better to win ugly or lose pretty?

                          It's rare to win a tournament with a very offensive minded / defensively challenged team, however there have been many instances of defensive minded first teams winning first. Grece, Denmark, Russia....

                                  A definite beautiful goal by Ibrahimovic, Sweden goes on to win 2-0 and deservedly so. It's funny how all of a sudden Greece became very attack minded and had quite a few opportunities.

                                  Maybe if Greece played attacking football from the start, they could have won but I'm glad they didn't.
