Those questions got the answers they deserved and after that, the Republicans got their panties in a bunch and went after Clinton.

It's politics... Many voters want Bush impeached... If they do it or at least drag it out, they can say they did or are doing it and thus get those voters to vote for them.. I can't remember, but didn't some of the dems get voted into office in 2006 because they said they'd do it? It also puts the corruption of the Repubs into play for the election.. The risk though is that it could energize the repub base and the Bush faithful.
