Does anyone use 1and1.com for their domains? I have a few domains with them I'd like to sell but it takes a fucking act of congress to do a transfer.

ACK! Not 1and1. They suck royal balls. I had them for about a year and had to cut that shit out because I had such issues with them. My servers were constantly down, they crashed about 3 times during the year so I had to start from scratch (taught me to back things up though :P ) Also they charge WAY too much for domains. Go with GoDaddy or NameCheap. I've only used GoDaddy though, and have nothing but praises for those guys.
And yeah, the act of congress I had to try to get passed 3 times before they would allow a transfer... it was not fun.

I hate 1and1. they have the worst customer service. They locked all of my hosting packages and domains because when it came time to automatically renew one of my domains, my new card wouldn't work. So, I corrected everything, and almost 3 weeks later, still my websites and hosting are locked. It's rediculous. Don't Use 1and1. Terrible customer service. Poor billing.Comment
