I think there is some amazing wisdom in the bible like forgiveness and many other life lessons but I can never be a Christian because then I have to accept that God decided to come up with this bizarre scenario of him impregnating a woman and the husband being OK with it. And then I have to accept that God expects humans to just blindly accept this and not only accept it but spin it as some beautiful thing. Whereas if the average modern Christian person would gossip and laugh behind the back another church member if she all of a sudden said she was pregnant with God's baby. But because this story of the birth of Jesus happened 2,000 years ago it makes it more believable.
Perhaps God put this story out there so he can weed out all the dumbfucks and send the believers to hell while he lets the rational people into Heaven.
