My wife's sister is having problems with her landlord.Who is not taking care of things and so I want to look up the law for the kid. Is it state or county?

Sec. 1. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), this chapter applies only to dwelling units that are let for rent after June 30, 2002.
(b) This chapter does not apply to dwelling units that are let for rent with an option to purchase.

Sec. 5. A landlord shall do the following

I find it interesting that they say "a heating system must be sufficient to adequately supply heat" but they don't specify what the a/c unit must do.Comment
