Haha, it's not like he was continuing the experiments or responsible in any way for the past, so I never really considered it much of an issue since he himself wasn't racist or bigoted in any form. He was pretty ashamed of the Mengele bloodline though and asked me not to tell my grandparents, which was probably a smart decision.

well, i guess you have a certain percentage of antisemitic people in every country
but i didn't mean it that way, what i meant was something like what happened in Israel recently when the german chancellor (or chancelorette - what do you call a female chancellor??) spoke in the Knesset and some people left cause they didnt want to hear the german language.
