In much of the States, supended license doesn't mean much of anything...
Ie. in Pennsylvania, many people driving suspended get nothing more than a slap on the wrist, even those with numerous driving suspended violations.
Plus some suspended license drivers, are legally allowed to still drive on a limited basis, such as to and from work.
And in Philly, driving with no valid license and/or no vehicle registration and/or no insurance is par for the course - driving violations are basically ignored there, but they take parking violations very seriously ... heck to the extent, that A&E even filmed a short series "Parking Wars" in Philly.

im waiting on my next court date to see whether or not i get 1night in the slammer or up to 2months...shit sucks
+ a fine + court cost + i had to pay $100 usd already just to get my license back temporarily until my court date and i had to wait 30 days just for that. shit sucks when u have to get toted around by someone else...
