And to Bufabufa, look at the bigger picture man. Our listeners listen to our shows while at work, at the gym anywhere.. and it is your message going directly into their ears at times and places you can never reach with visual media. So yes it works. There is a reason radio gives a higher RIO than any other forms of media.

more details… how long are people signing up for these ad spots for? are you getting repeat ad buying customers? or is it always new advertisers?

what's the cost etc?

We have 2 long standing advertisers currently. With Radio/podcast it is all about long term listener exposure.. we also advertise our own porn site on the sex show and constantly get signs up thru it. It is the only form of advertising we do now for the site.

With costs it will depend on how often and length of the message, you can go from a simple one message mention to a full show sponsorship, which locks everyone else out.

Plus there are a few different ways to advertise.
You can pledge to support the station via our Patreon page and we will put a link to your business on our supporters page, we also read out your business in the thanks credit at the end of one of the shows ( $5 per month or more)
You can also do a simple Host mention $10 per mention or 15sec ad, the list goes on really. But i can't stress enough that the way to make this successful is to keep putting the name and 'tag line into the shows. we also do Video streaming of the shows, so there is a logo spot as well available.
Then we have packages that range from $200 - $5000 depending on what you want.
Oct figures are in finally giving us a shade under 40,000 listeners on the Sex show.
