Anyway, of course all cars in the price range you are looking for are good and nice. It's just a personal opinion what car fits your needs. Sporty, more comfort, maybe buy 2 cars..Like an Lotus Elise, and a BMW 5/7 or mercedes e class. etc...Anyway let me know what you decided, and feel free to ask me to drive you around :D

Get an E63. I have a white 08 E63, tinted windows and black pano roof and I love it. The CLS is too much "shock and awe" styling IMHO. See lots of chicks driving CLSs. E63 is brute force and just mean.

The CLS is a beautiful looking ride but it's way smaller inside than it appears (100% agree with minte's post regarding the backseat). It's got "gruntish" torque and is a very comfortable ride at highway speeds but in all honesty if you want the absolute SHIT get the M5.

The M5 is simply a BEAST! I have driven all of them the E55, the E63, M3, the RS4, Bentley Continental GT etc... All have amazing features and some of them are clearly more comfortable, quicker in corners, better tech but nothing compares to the raw power the M5 has.

LOL! No offence but have you driven an M5 before or an RS4 or RS6? M5 is crazy fast and RS4 is no slouch either.

The new RS6 in 09 will be 580hp/V10... Fastest sedan in the world (until the new M5 comes out in 2010) haha! ;)

Well i guess it all depends on what you want, the backseat was of serious deliberation for me since I have kids and having to put car seats in there was a no go (the sloping roof was brutal). My buddy has a CLS55 and he's 6"0 tall like me and his front seat is so far pushed back that no adult could possibly sit in the backseat comfortably.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of the CLS but for my needs it just wasn't adequete.
