    AdultHost.com is a scam!

    They constantly go down and i tried to transfer my domain from them to another host and they don't respond. I have tried calling, writing and even using their ICQ with no success. In fact their support and tech e-mails don't even function.Most importantly to me though was the promise of 24x7x365 tech support? AdultHost is a scam. End of story.

    I am in the midst of speaking to my lawyer and intend to get my money back. Anyone have any advice on how to prosecute these cheats?

      To tell you the truth, it will cost you more for an attorney. Unfortunately you may just have to give up the money and I have no idea what you would do about the domain name situation...sorry.

              You are an idiot. You don't need their support to transfer your domain name.

              If you were talking to your layer (if you even could afford one) he would know how to "prosecute these cheats".

                  Emma, did they register your domain name for you? If not then donnie is correct that you should be able to update your name servers without their help. Even if they did register it, do you not have an admin area that you can at least update your nameservers?

                          yes,they registered domains for me. I know it was my mistake, because I believe them

                                  Damn! I only knew of one scamming schmuck that registers domains for the client and that is Jay Servidio of Teleteria.
                                  Be sure in the future to control all registering of your domains...it's not that hard to do

                                              For now just update your nameservers to new host so you can at least move. You can try and get the domain transfer done later.

                                                  No you don't, don't confuse changing your nameservers with transfering the domain to another registrar. Do you have the ability to login to the domain's registrar and change any information?

                                                          I can login and I've changed whois info to mine but some of those domains has expired and I can't renewal domains without them. their billing system is fucked or whatever. 2checkout.com is their pay processor and even they can't contact adulthost.com. no response.

                                                              lol i just bought hosting with them, it sucks haha.. ffmpeg is not even installed so my tube script wont work.. i should have checked around alot of people are saying they have been scammed by this company:
