My two BIGGEST grammatical pet peeves:

1. "Loose" instead of "Lose". Once and for all people: your mamma's pussy is loose, you lose at poker. Get it? Probably not.

2. Double negatives, as in 'no' instead of 'any'. Example: "You don't know no more than I do, Porn Nerd." Sigh. No, no I do not know any more than you do.

Honorable Mention: Using 'prolly' instead of 'probably'. Grrr!
Hm, but "loosing" and "losing" sounds +-the same. So it could be explained just by not knowing simple grammar.
While "to" and "too" (on top of not knowing) also sounds very differently.
It looks like an impossible mistake to me, even as non English speaker. So how come English speakers make it that often. VERY strange mistake
