    The Wire is awful.

    Worst show ever. It's should be called "The Cavalcade of the Crime Show Cliches"

          If not trolling, keep on watching. I remember everybody going crazy about it, but I found the first few episodes kinda boring ... then it got brilliant.

                  Every so often I'll leave the TV on while I'm on Reddit or doing something else and Law & Order will come on. Everytime I hear that DUN DUN sound i have to laugh, since I've only really ever heard that sound used in a comedic setting.

                  I tried starting The Wire once but the SD format turns me off and I thought the first few eps I watched were pretty boring...

                      First few episodes of the Sopranos were boring. That is how it goes with shows that playout over time and are not meant to be watch one and done like CSI or It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

                              So true. It takes a few episodes before you start to learn who is who and what is going on then it builds from there. It is one of my all time favorite shows.
