I know which one I'm picking.
The Ferrari. You, the Hellcat, I'm sure.
Quality over quantity for me. Can't even count the amount of HP, Dell, Sony laptop and PC's I've blown through. Shit quality.
Software (Windows) not optimized to work with the hardware....so in a few years you have a laggy POS. I ran a 1200 user Exchange/Active Directory environment for 6 years. So I think I know my shit.
Even custom built can't match the tight hardware/software integration that Apple provides.
To each his own. But I usually find that hte people who are anti-Mac have never used one for more than a week.
I'm happily typing this from my brand new Macbook Pro Retina 15". My 10 year old 15 inch Macbook Pro is still to this day being used flawlessly by my niece and my sister has my 2008 Macbook Pro Unibody. Still working flawlessly. How many PC/Windows based shitty laptops can you say that about?

I have to agree with you on this. The hardware is build to last (unlike the iPhone that people tend to upgrade every other year) the computers really last. My partner has a 15" Macbook Pro (late 2009 series) that I recently worked on when he got a new one. The computer had it's hard drive maxed out and 4 gigs of memory...ran like an old computer BUT never died on him (unlike the 4 laptops I went through)!
I took the old drive out and replaced it with a 250 ssd, doubled the memory to 8 gigs, and it's now running like a new computer (even with the old cpu). It will go for years! The only bummer is no retina display of course!
The integration of the OS with the hardware can not be bet and the latest free upgrade to Yosemite is really great. Runs fast and is visually amazing - highly recommended!
