100gb of site data, how much bandwidth usage you planning on using? I doubt you can find much in terms of dedicated for that price, but virtual should be no problem.

thanks for all the leads. yeah, 2nd home is the new home and i'll keep the old host as the backup mirror. i'll check out the leads and do this b4 the next crazy thing happens at dh. today it was power out for a few hours. they said their backup generator was on and running, but my site wasn't.
