Or you could do exactly what they want you to do...
Spread their message, show their terror tactics to people that would other wise never see or be directly affected by them.

Not someone you know, nor are you living in the conflict area.
Closer to home are the rapes, murders etc.. happening in the streets where or near where we all live.
Yet were is the outcry for those people?
Without the propagation of the "news" of what they are doing, by very definition there would be no terrorism media platform for the terrorist to use.

The situation is being enabled by the media and Gov (not just the US Gov,.)
Group A is being Bullied by Group B
Group C is fighting Group B under the guise of helping Group A
Group B kills 1 person from Group C
Group C kills many people a few from Group B and some of Group A
Group A has some people switch sides to Group B
Group B gets stronger
Repeat
Remove Group C
Group A is being Bullied by Group B
Group A learns it must stand-up for itself
Group A is pushes back Group B
Group B attacks Group A possibly killing some of Group A&B
Group B has some people switch sides to Group A
Group A gets stronger
