Windows 8.1 isn't bad at all.
On my desktops and laptops I am all running 7. However, on my Microsoft Surface I am running 8.1 and it's perfect. Windows 8 is meant more for a tablet than a PC or even a laptop. My Surface is a bit of both.
M$ is trying to make one system for both tablets and PCs. They should still make the traditional Windows (Windows 7) and then make a new system and call it "Titles" for Tablets. Let Laptop people choose between the two.
