advice needed! what can you suggest for a former client to pay me up?

I suggest using escrow.com for all high priced transactions...too many pieces of shit in this world.

I know, the fucked up part is that I let down some major opportunities just to work for them coz of the promises he made that never happened and now not paying for 1 and a half month of full time work, 8 hrs a day 5 days a week.

then when i posted my portfolio to look for some projects, they threatened me not to post them coz they own them!

emm...try whatever your best to collect back your pay.
My advice is next time before you start work on a project with someone, negotiate with him/her about the payment first. Like weekly, month, or project based. Tell them how you want get pay. If they're a businessman, they'll keep their words.

Don't wait until 1 and a half month....

these were the agreement, i get paid every week (never happened)... on the first month, i didn't get my payment until i remind him, he sent payments after a month work, he paid me less than we agreed, i tolerated it, i still continued working for him, then he gets comfortable sending me less payment that we agreed and paid me every month, not every week that he promised, also always a week late. I still worked for him since i knew him for years now and worked for him from the past.

It was 2nd week of March, I was almost begging him to send me payment for the month of feb, he sent the payment late and my bank account closed, so i never recieved any payment, i still continued to work for him for the 2 weeks of march still waiting for his payment. I get all the excuses about refunds and stuffs that could take a month. I told him to send it on other way, he sent $200 for a project that I still have to work for him...

It's almost May, its been way more than a month, he's excuses were still waiting for refunds, I got all his emails and promises that I'll get my money.

I didnt want to make any issue about this cause I need to get that money...
I'm sure he's reading... I'll be waiting for some responses on my email.. He's been hiding on icq on me..
