look at all that water too, i wonder whats in there. gotta be something we dont know. i believe that scientists have only searched like 1% of the ocean, not a sure # but i know im close.
Love the new Vodaphone ad with NIN's "Perfect Drug", though.
Anyhow... That file was too wide... so I letterboxed it. Think it looks pretty nice. Needed something darker. Here is my 1280 x 1024 desktop scaled down to 25%.... (So it could be a smaller file and not hog the whole browser window...)
This pic is not "real", it has been digitally modified. It was not just taken from a satellite and then published. Something in this pic is impossible.
A) can't see the whole world at once
B) the whole world can't be dark at once
C) the world is a globe, has to be mapped onto a flat surface
D) the lights above different regions would be different colors due to different kinds of outdoor and other lighting
E) No clouds
Could still be a relatively direct composite, though.

Has anyone else seen the episode of Enterprise where the tough Klingons step into the prototype holodeck showing the Klingon capital, and one of them clearly and distinctly says, "I can see my house from here." I love that.

quality .. shoutcast > electronic > downtempo is nice for a stroll too. monkeyradio was great until the new laws silenced him. Sucks that Internet radio is dying a slow painful death right now.
eventually, earth will lose.
enjoy it while it lasts.

Cool pic... I think it's real... with special lenses, and some time-lapse photography it's possible. I hear some sats can see the light from a burning candle.
