I agree with you on this one. I haven't been able to have profit from paid spots for a long time now.

Prices are just insane, and you end up paying $5+ for 1.000 gallery clicks. Making it just impossible to profit.

Even the spots on the "rest 4 TGPS worth of buying spots" are going down fastly (together with their traffic). All those guys still charge the same money like they had traffic numbers of 2005-6.
I have now even problem to have profitable spots on Thehun, which was not the case for the past 4 years.

That's the problem with paid TGP spots. Prices rarely go down when traffic goes down, but prices are very quick to rise when traffic goes up.

I just took look on Sextracker and almost all big sites have their traffic half less traffic then in 2005, while charging some prices for spots.

You can't blame them though, if I owned one of the biggest TGP's, I'd be surely NOT decreasing the price of my spots if I still had suckers paying me the current rates even if they were losing money on it most of the time....

Thats why I am going to gave up this game. My current Thehun spot orders are going to be first in a 4 years which arent going to turn into profit.

I understand and feel sorry for you.
I can understand that decreased traffic and worse conversions are killing the paid spots game (and this whole biz) for affiliates.

But as long as there are people buying at his prices, he will keep charging them.

I guess since there are like 1000 affiliate programs nowadays, then the owners may keep buying these spots, because for them a sign up may be worth more than your $35 and also they're just branding out their new sites and ensuring some future typein/word of mouth traffic.

Unfortunately the biz is shifting to tube sites now anyway...

I haven't bought any spots in quite a while to be honest. I used to 3-4 years ago quite a bit but things just don't convert like they used to on the sites.

agreed use to blow 6-7k a month on paid spots but those days are over unless you REALLY REALLY know your site.
