Ok.. The hiphop IQ here is pretty bad when Rakim and Kool G Rap don't make people's lists, in favour of artists like Run DMC, LL Cool J and Lil Wayne.
Ask any rapper their top 5, and Rakim and Kool G will be mentioned invariably.

The only decent ones mentioned are Jedi Mind Tricks and Aesop. And thats just a drop in the ocean of all the other dope rappers in the hip hop underworld.

pac is kinda overrated... i like some of his albums but he aint my favourite... as for best, i dont know, it all depends on what you like personally: The hippie rap of common, hardcore rap, or rappers that use complex words just because they're complex.
