Limited trial access is just "take a look" to members area and customers can get full acess to all content after (one click) upgrade.
$0 trial/free trial usually with full lifetime access go alongside with hidden prechecked xsales and owner of these paysites make money mainly from people that don't notice/uncheck this xsales (about 20% customers?). Owners don't need limit members area, because hidden xsales are huge money maker. This method is masked by a pretense that customers need put in their cc data due to age verification (age verification required - 18+ - credit card - $0).
