Thomas Sowell is a great intellectual, one of the greatest in USA at the moment (in my opinion). He deserves a Nobel prize in economy.

    These are his weekly columns:

His interviews and lectures are very interesting and often funny.

-I can't quantify my hatred of the State. Preferences are ordinal.

-The absolute ruler may be a Nero, but he is sometimes Titus or Marcus Aurelius; the people is often Nero, and never Marcus Aurelius.

These kinds of interviews are hard for me to watch. So dry, yet so packed with info you have to watch.

Interesting point about the Igbos's in Nigeria with the British setting up schools for them, and spot on with pointing out what's always seemed obvious to me. It's not the race, it's the culture + geography + quality of life + opportunity to learn = intelligence

The comments of black subculture in America, and redneck black/white subculture are so true.

Divide and conquer has plagued American culture the last 30 years. Politically divide, socially divide, economically divide, racially divide.

The good thing in the last few years with Obama in office all non whites know there is no glass ceiling, no excuse. And racist whites now know that non whites can run the fucking country and not do a Bush
