    New computer time... it's like xmas for grownups (geeks anyhow)..

    Don't you just love the smell of fresh silicon in the morning?

    Put the order in for 2 of these today:

    2 x Quadcore 2.5Ghz Xeons
    12GB Ram
    9800GX2 GeForce with 1GB DDR3
    on a SkullTrail mobo.. (Z7S WS) mmm.. in 18 months i'll pop in another 9800 and shell out for 4gb ram chips to take it up to 24...
    2tb worth of HD although half is raided giving 1.5..

    Screen is coming from Dell so i'm still deciding on either two 24"s or one 30".

    No one gives a shit, but my nerd senses are tingling and I can't wait for it to arrive... I only buy a new comp every 3 years so it's along time between drinks.

                  Aye this is me. The last time I had to play games was maybe at xmas. I was drawn to the board because of the RAM allowed. Most mobo's, even current top of the line gaming ones only support 8GB, so most other considerations came after that. I'm still hoping the Z7S WS performs better than what was reviewed in that article.
