Well unless i am wrong the hate crime elevates this. So he will serve some time. I do not think there is a soft enough judge to let an idiot walk who punches a pregnant woman.
My meaning was that he will probably take some beatings in jail. Punching a pregnant woman has to rank up there with the welcome committee.
