    I love watching COPs TV show

    Anyone else like watching COPs on TV?

    I hate to admit it, but I kind of like seeing how the bottom 5% of America lives.

                  Yup, me too; I've also done four different ride-alongs with the San Diego Police-----each a 12-hour shift; I've purposely asked for Friday or Saturday afternoon and into the late evenings so I could see more action happening.

                  I'm gonna be 75 on my next birthday, but I'm still a "kid" :-)

                                                                                          My wife can enjoy a thoughtful indie drama, or the most high-brow TV series that's on the air -- but COPS is still her go-to show for as long as I've known her. She has our DVR filled with COPS and it drives me crazy. I ask her how many shirtless hicks can you see get tackled before it becomes the same shit over and over.

                                                                                          My personal favorite line perps always use is "that shit ain't mine".

They pulled over this car for his tail light being out, fucker didn't follow instructions well and didn't seem to be in a hurry to get out of the car and was going for something in his pocket... Turned out he had a jar full of crack - the good stuff too, and lots of it.

                                                                                                                      COPS is nothing more than a propaganda show for law enforcement made to draw sympathy for cops. They make themselves look perfect while making the general public look like a bunch of criminals. Never do they show cops searching cars and coming up with nothing (which in reality happens more than 50% of the time). Never do they show cops being pricks (which we all know they are). And never do they show cops eating donuts half their shift.
