I love how the United States government is all up in arms over Russia's annexation of Crimea when the United States did exactly the same thing to Hawaii and for exactly the same reason.. Pearl Harbor..

They imprisoned Liliuokalani while seizing almost 2 million acres of land to annex to the U.S. America refused her plea to "regain the throne" and following the former queen's death, Hawaii was declared a territory of the U.S. In 1959, Hawaii became the 50th state admitted to the union.
