Only thing good about the IE is that all the parking spaces are HUGE! Has to do with everyone driving and parking their houses everywhere they go.

Definitely. Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, surrounding area much nicer than to the east (San Bernardino, Loma Linda, etc.) I lived in San Bernardino my whole life...definitely NOT the place you want to be.

Ok, I'm moving to South Orange County but I was born and raised in Riverside.

What's Cool?

1. Dirtbike and offroading capital of the world
2. Lots of nearby lakes.. 4 within 30 minutes
3. Center of everything.. L.A. 1 hour, San Diego 1.5 hours, Vegas 2.5 hours, Beach 30min, Mountains 30min, Glamis Sand Dunes 2.5 hours.
4. Some pretty nice gold courses for good rates.
5. Home of the old Riverside Raceway... Currently has the California Speedway
6. Skydiving Capital? Not sure on this but it's big here.
7. I live here :P

Yes it has been known to have meth labs. But Eric owns stock in most of them so at least the money stays in the porn biz. lol Meth labs and such are found here but they are out in the middle of nowhere. Why? Because unlike L.A. we actually have land here

Riverside was a cool place to grow up. The weather is always 5-10 degrees warmer than L.A. There is a ton of outdoor type things to do here. It's so close to everything. We have little traffic.

Cruising was huge here. Back in the late 80's people use to come from other stats to come cruise Magnolia. And years before that it was Market street. Friday and Saterday night there was a stretch of about 5 miles on Magnolia where people cruised and lined up the streets. Further down the street people would cruise and race light to light. We use to take our street bikes and just give girls rides all night.. lol No helmet law back then and the girls were lined up on the sidewalks asking for rides or parked hanging with friends. It was pretty unreal if you could see what it was like. After years of this they finally shut it down when the gangs from L.A. started showing up and there was some shootings.

After that closed they started up the street races on VanBuren and the 60 freeway. We would go out there a couple nights a week and the cops never even showed up. There was a few places you could drag that were lit up with street lights. For years people would show up with trailered cars and bikes. It was a blast. Eventually the same thing happened. The cruisers and gangs showed up and ruined it. Cops shut it down after a shooting. Once again L.A. related.

Good times.. I had a CBR 600 build out big time and my buddy rode a GSXR 750 with an 1100 motor in it. We would go race peeps for money and make hundreds every weekend.. That was a ton for me back then. I would challenge the 750's and smoke them on a 600 and he would race 1100's on his "so called" 750 and do the same.

No more cruising, no more racing. Just work hahaha

There is some very nice private communities in Riverside but also some shitty ones. But riverside looks no different then the Valley does imo.
