      Wow, Speed Racer only made $20 million. That's gotta hurt, seeing that's it's supposed to have cost upwards of $200 million to make.

          $150 mil to make another $100 to promote. And studios only get 50% of the box office. made the same as that Vegas movie which cost a mere $35 mil to make. Speed Racer will proabbly to gangbusters in Japan so some of those costs will be recouped, but it a money loser for sure.

                          Honestly I'm shocked speed racer made 20 million... I don't know of a single person that said speed racer was even worth watching...

                                              I saw it on IMAX and it blew my mind.
                                              The critics are morons, it's just some good old family fun.
                                              Go watch it without judging it from the previews.

                                                              THat $100 million to market the film was totally wasted. The promos and trailers did nothing but show off the effects. That's what told me the movie was going to be shit. Someone will be looking for a new gig shortly.
