well i dont think the season was fixed, but the order in which the votes were read were certainly arranged to cause max suspense... i'd bet my lef nut on it

i mean, if all of parvatis votes came first or whatever, how boring of a vote would that have been for a finale... they saw to it this was not the case

Yes Probst DOES order them in the order he wants to read them, and yes they always read the ones that they show ahead of time first. He does it with every tribal council vote by the way, and those last for HOURS and hours too. Takes forever to get enough dramatic answers.

But fixed? nah.

Cerie was the real winner this season. As soon as I saw she was in the cast, I told my GF they'd better vote her out because if they dont, she will destroy everyone. That woman is a mastermind, she can read you like a book, find a button, and get someone else to press it. Expert! I felt bad for her to be voted out last.

I was hoping for Erik because he was the exact opposite. Naive, innocent, couldnt lie to save his own life, but so easy to manipulate. Poor kid got worked so easily, lmao.

Parvatti winning? Horrible outcome. Oh well, shit happens. 4 more season coming up though ;)

A friend and I were talking about this today. If you look back at the show about half the time the person that wins is the one that did the most back stabbing and lying. The key is that you have to own it before the jury. If you lie and back stab then try to play it off like you didn't you won't win, but if you do like Parvarti did and you own it and tell them that is what you planned all along al lot of times they hand you the win.

Ruthless or not though. I was hoping for an Amanda and Parvarti lesbian fling on their last night on the island.

The only thing staged are the challenges and the places where they make camp. Do you think they do it all on a hollywood sound stage or something? Like the moon landing? lmfao

The only thing these people are under non-disclosure contract about is revealing the winner.

I believe they do make like 15k per episode though or something like that..

Also, the Pearl Islands season where the Johnny kid lied about his grandmother dying, well he told the producers he would pull that shit in his pre-show interview before he was even selected.

Shows like this where you see 35 minutes of content per episode which was filmed over a 3 day period does not mean they aren't out there living with nothing. And any amount of editing doesnt change the fact that what is in the show, is really said and done.

It's easy to say it's staged, but I bet you would die of starvation or lose your mind and beg to be flown home if you were out there on the "stage" lol. Who wouldnt????

ps: this season had the highest ratings of any except season 1. Huge numbers. Plenty of retards love it

I read somewhere that they get $2500 for every day they are on the show so if you make it to the jury you will be getting around 97K then you get a bonus (not sure how much) for every day you make it before getting voted off. And of course the winner gets the million on top of that.

That sounds about right yeah. It was mentioned on one of the DVD commentaries I think.
