    National Stereotypes, lets hear them.

    What are some of the most common National Stereotype's?

    I'll start with a few.

    American's: Fat, war mongrering individuals with no sense of other nations or countries.

    Jew's: Obsessed with money, all work economic or money jobs, often extremely religious.

    Canadian's: Overly Polite, can't pronounce "About", use the word "eh" as a verbal period on every sentence. Parka wearing, seal killing, winter rednecks.

    Irish: Drunk redheaded hotheads who have no control of temper.


    There is hundreds more, and consider this a "research" thread, eh.

          Flatlanders (Illinois natives, namely from the Chicago suburbs) are prone to buying up our excellent yet reasonably priced land then fucking up our lakes and other natural resources with vile waterbourne parasites. They also have a terrible habit of over estimating the greatness and importance of their pizza (any city that has a large Italian community is going to have some killer pizza places), hot dogs (no matter how you slice them and dice them, they are still made out of meat that was not good enough to go into pet food) and sports teams (especially the bears).

                  National, as i said above, this is for some research for a project, I'm looking for stereotypes that people hold towards other Nationalities, good or bad, with no prejudice towards anyone in specific, but towards all of them.

                  I have a decent list made up, but it won't be posted until some get tossed out, the list is being created for a site that pokes fun at national stereotypes, no need to get twisted and fall right into your own stereotype.

                          We have this same problem here in SW MI and we call them FIP's Fuckin Illinois People they really are annoying and a total PITA they're the midwest version of the Boston/New York people.... absolutely horrible
