Thanks, I couldn't think of what that was called. I wanted to say a "grommet" it's like a grommet a 'sheath" they guide the catheter tube and wire into your arteries through it then seal it when they finish like a cork in a bottle. The catheter assembly is like a scientific roto rooter and you can feel the damn thing sliding around as they work. They gave me a Demerol drip IV -- no fun at all.
