I got home from the hospital

...about an hour ago What a miserable...fucking...day. I arrived at 6:00 AM as called for. I was booked in and prepped for surgery which took two full hours. Surgery began at 8:00 AM and ended at around 11:15. I was taken to a recovery room where I spent the next number of hours flat on my back and was told not to move or lift my head. During those hours at some point two nurses came in and told me they were there to remove a tube that was intentionally left in to plug the entry point of an artery in my groin. They fucked it up and I began to bleed...not outside my skin but on the inside. One of them...one strong bitch...applied pressure by hand on my groin...they called in a third nurse to assist them and the next hour they worked feverishly to get my blood pressure down to a level that the could repair the damage. This hurt like a son of a bitch on top of the severe pain I suffer with 24/7. They got things repaired and told me I would have to continue laying flat on my back...not moving...and not to lift my head...until 6:30 PM. My back is the major cause of the pain I suffer with 24/7 and I normally cannot lay down more than a couple of hours at best before my back starts screaming...which it did after a couple of hours. I tell the nurse that I cannot lay there until 6:30 so she had to go to plan B. She did not have a plan B and said I just had to bear it.

At 5:00 PM I started yelling out and a nurse came in that had replaced the other nurse because it was time for a shift change. I told the new nurse what had been going on and about my back etc. and that I was going to get up and walk out of the hospital and be damned the consequences and I started to rise and she quickly pushed me back down.

She asked me if being put on my side would help me with the pain in my back. WELL HELL yes it would but the other nurse said I had to be flat on my back...motionless and not to even raise my head. The nurse said no that...I of course be on my side...and not move or lift my head. I then managed to stick it out till 6:30 just to then learn that I could now get out of bed only to sit quietly in a chair or I could use the bathroom which I desperately needed to do...and that I could not get dressed or leave until the Surgeon cane by to see me

At 7:30 he showed up and told me that they wanted to put six stints in me but once they saw a dye map of my arteries...they were to damaged so they only put in four. Basically he said my arteries through out my body are terribly damaged from to many years of smoking and not much of anything can be done about it. He said that maybe they could perform a couple of by passes to my heart when the time comes for it to begin to fail.

I told him no thanks I will work with what I have as long as I have it or can tolerate having it.
