i want to set up a new adult blog. hostgator has nice prices but are they good for adult? anyone from hostgator here?

My advice is don't try and stick anything adult or non adult on a hostgator shared server. Those things are so stuffed full of accounts simply trying to edit posts on word press takes 2 minutes to execute. Their VPS is fine if you're willing to spend the extra $$.

I think they are the best option
I had my site on bluehost and they told me the only condition was that I do not sell porn. I have a blog so technically I don't. After some months they took my blog down.

hostgator is good, i have three accounts there and no problems at all. sometime downtime, but its everywhere, i have hostings with 14 another companies and its almost everywhere the same, some are worse but i dont remember them as i dont use them anymore. and some are better, but of course will not post here as they will end up as the rest in the middle 
i say go with hostgator
