nobody knows speed racer here and its in the theatres. I saw the promo on tv and within 2 seconds i knew its a fucking childish, dumb computergame on the big screen.

I loved the cartoon as a kid, as did 3 of my 4 brothers. Also Marine Boy, Kimba the white lion (which the lion king owes it's success to) and other early Japanese cartoons.
But the movie trailers I've seen all look like a kid in his basement did it on his PC. Seriously. I dont care about seeing 40 million colors on the screen at once. Which means it's not for me.
The people on the junket arent even talking about plot or anything other than the visual aspect. You know fractal screen savers are visually pleasing as well, and dont cost 80 bazillion dollars to create.43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.

I am old enough to vaguely recall watching that horrible cartoon when I was a young child thirty-five years ago, so I have no idea why someone would decide to bring this ancient and obscure cartoon back as a live action movie. I tried to walk out of Speed Racer but the movie theater bastards chain linked the doors shut just as the movie started. Nobody could get out. There were people screaming and crying. Some people were getting ill and others were actually stepping on people (who had fallen) trying to get out of the theater. It was horrendous!Comment
