I've seen the assholes outside of abortion clinics trying to fuck with people. They do push the buttons and talk a lot of shit to people. It's made me want to stop my car and kick their asses before.

The thing is, she's kind of right... her approach is all wrong and most of the words she used made no sense (Racist? No.. Sexist? No... ). She just got really upset obviously and the words she wanted to express weren't coming to her. I can understand her passion but there are better ways to make your point than losing your shit. I've never been to an abortion clinic, but I know what you mean. Here in Montreal of all places, we get get, surpassingly, people with Obama as Hitler signs, Obama with Swastikas on his clothes, etc. Clearly they are asking for confrontation. Each time it seems to be run by the same old woman, but with new younger people around her. They are really stupid, and really fun to make feel stupid.
What I would do is go up and start asking why they equate Obama to Hitler. They respond with lots of hateful rhetoric and buzzwords which of course make no sense, but they do it loud, and adopt an aggressive stance. One idiot says "If Obama isn't impeached he will take over America just like Hitler Did in World War II". Ignoring the obvious goof in their statement, I will ask them "When was World War II?". They don't even know.
A few more questions put to them which any high school kid should be able to answer spins their little heads right around, at which time they get very angry. One time I was sure I was going to get knocked down but (un)fortunately a cop just happened to pass by and he backed off.
Anyway, the point is, this chick did it wrong. Anytime you want to argue points with a protestor, just keep calm, arm yourself with facts, and try to keep the conversation civil. You may not win but at least you will give them something to think about later.
(Damn - just had an idea. The next time I see a Hitler-Obama demonstration, I'll tell them I'll call the police and report a hate crime. That'll really mix them up).Comment

Conservatives care so much about everyone's freedom, except for a woman's vagina. They also seem to care deeply about unborn children, but they don't want to have fuck to do with it once it comes into the world -- then they cry about it burdening the system and making their taxes go up.
Since I'm having my own kid soon and watched ultrasounds, my ideas on abortion have shifted more to the right. But below a certain timeframe, it's just a mass of cells. We should stop chicks from using abortion as birth control, but circumstances like incest or rape or danger to the mother's health should count as exceptions.
