    God kills 20 thousand in Myanmar...why?

    Wonder why the good lord up above decided today was the day to re-call 20 thousand Myanmar citizens?

    YANGON, Myanmar - The cyclone death toll soared above 22,000 on Tuesday and more than 41,000 others were missing as the international community prepared to rush in aid after the country's deadliest storm on record, state radio reported.


    Up to 1 million people may be homeless after Cyclone Nargis hit the Southeast Asian nation, also known as Burma, early Saturday. Some villages have been almost totally eradicated and vast rice-growing areas are wiped out, the World Food Program said.

"god" is killing and giving life to millions and billions in all sorts of ways at each and every moment. you are focusing on a single event at the exclusion of all others.

                                                                                                                                          the fact is that death is a part of life - "god" or not. people died because people die. that's what we do.

                                                                                                                                          after we die we will be born again - either our molecules will go back into the universe from which we came, in which case we will in time come again from the universe. OR our "spirit" will migrate to a new situation. Spirit or no, there is reincarnation - so it's not a DISASTER that people die. and don't "blame" god or the universe. blame yourself for attachement to material things which makes you wish vainly that you didn't die.
