If someone is going to laugh at vegans and then the vegan says "Watch this to see whats in your meat" and you dont watch it, then I see it as cowardly. Its very black and white to me.
If you dont watch it then cool I dont care, but then dont wave meat in a veggies face then act butthurt when they show you the truth.

I dont know why someone defending themselves is seen as "Holier than thou".

Your approach is somewhat akin to anti-abortion folks waving photos of aborted fetuses in the faces of women seeking medical care (actually many medical procedures can be pretty gruesome - I have a video of an ankle surgery I had performed years ago that is definitely not for the squeamish - hated to see how they patched me up, but damn glad they did).

Besides, many people have no qualms about killing the meat they need to eat (my Dad grew up on a farm where they butchered their own meat), and I spent a few weeks almost every summer as a kid at an Aunt's dairy farm. Most people have been conditioned to accept meat eating as a perfectly normal, perfectly acceptable, and healthy process, and honestly don't care about how what they are eating arrived on their plate, as long as it's delivered in a sanitized package and it's served fresh and hot.

When you try to play a shock video for such folks, they tend to think you have a holier than thou moral attitude, which is fine if you only want to feel good about yourself, however if you want to create change, you might consider other tactics.

Anyway, I see some credence to your case, since the OP was clearly trolling/baiting. I just think that in many/most instances, this may be a better approach...

Lol uh you posted pictures of bloody people in meat packages (which sounds pretty anti-abortion-tactics to me) and a Meat is Murder video and thats ok, but if others do it then thats wrong.
I also dont understand why its fine for meat eaters to taunt vegans but if vegans respond at the same volume then we're "shoving our beliefs down other peoples throats" and chastised for it.

Double standards like those make me lose interest and I'm zoning out. Enjoy your day.
