Well again you have to look to all the "shfting" (not shitting) going on in the past few years. Cams and adult dating and tubes have taken a lot of the revenue (and ads) whereas before that revenue may have gone to DVDs and studios producing content (or live shows for fans, or appearances/signings, etc).
It's all supply/demand. Demand IS down due to free porn but the demand has also 'spread'. There are now, a decade+ later, literally millions of amateur websites online, small companies like mine, single sites, clips stores, VOD, cam studios, dating sites, ad networks. Back in the day when you and Layla were traveling around making bank the pool of talent and where to enjoy porn was much, much more limited. Now we have smart phones, wifi, etc etc.
So i think the money has gone to both a few big players and a shitload of really, really small ones spread throughtout the world. india, China, Romania, Brasil, on and on.

My point is kinda moot - Having re-read what you posted... It is 100% correct, in itself, in its bubble...
By that I mean that what we used to earn is irrelevant - Where I was trying to go, was that in our heyday, the overall pool of money - available to all - was FUCKING SILLY...
Now? Not so much - hence GFY slowing down - hence my point

People have been saying the same shit since the begging ... for alot of these people that say no one cares anymore about boards... why are they here then posting left n right? Kinda ironic? lololI laugh when people moan about not enough new threads/posts, while not actually making any themselves.
I've been here for years and people seem to forget that there has ALWAYS been a lot of "fucking around" (as it says in the title). So the crazy threads don't bother me. It's very easy not to click them and find another that does interest you.
There used to be more business posts because there was a lot more newbies back in the day, so most were learning stuff about the biz each day. Now, many have left the biz, so it's mostly just us that have been here long term, and i guess we know most of what we want to know which makes us our income as it stands.
However when a biz thread is posted, there are usually still very good replies and advice.
So rather than moan, contribute...
Sure the board has changed over the years , but that is expected... You still have idiots and trolls , you still have alot of affs still whom you will never see post or stay in the shadows...
Hey if you people do not like this place just hand over your nicks and leave plain and simple.
Dont like the BS or some of the idiots on here? Just ignore em or fuck with them on occasion like me...

Deman is still there , maybe down a bit i agree but for anyone that keeps on saying the sky has fallen and so forth is just foolish.
If you cant change and modify to what porn is today then of course they will fail.
Another tip ...dont ever let people know what you own/do/sites and so forth or help people that you do not know personally well.. alot of scum here still that will just steal your ways and ideas...
I learned the hard way few years ago to never ever again help another soul unless i really know you and have a direct business dealing with them.
