Isn't it possible that people like you and them want to draw attention to themselves to exhibit their dominance over others? Secure their position as alpha male of the street? Or maybe you / they need constant reminders of their perceived importance, or perceived coolness? This is something only a psychologist or shrink could answer.
Vendy, don't take such a big shit anytime someone challenges you on things. Trust me, we get it: Bikes look cool. They are cool and have been since they were invented. You drive a Harley which is the coolest of the cool bikes. The sound that they make can be considered cool too just like people consider the sounds of certain cars to be cool. Not everyone things its cool because like I said, "Cool" is a relative term. it's subjective.
