You can try, but it will be seized and I imagine you will either get a knock at the door after you get home, or perhaps they will greet you as soon as you enter the airport.

I said mail it.

You could theoretically send about two grams. Roll two joints or just break it up so it will lay in an envelope flat. Double vacuum pack the herb. Cut a piece of cardboard so the vacuum pack lays inside and it remains flat like a thick letter. Tape it in place and wrap it in a couple sheets of paper.
Send it regular airmail in a standard white envelope with stamps. Address this envelope to the former resident of your home. If you don't know who lived there previously just make up a name. If the letter is brought to your door don't accept it. Deny any knowledge of it. If it is left in your box enjoy your herbs.
If it is intercepted by customs you will get a letter asking if you want to claim it. Just throw the letter out. If nothing ever shows up, it was either returned to sender or stolen.
Or you can just look into California's medical program.

It's worth a try. As long as you don't put a return address they won't be able to prove who sent it anyways. That or you could source out some good ganja and not worry about it.

Don't forget about fingerprints on the envelope, etc. Taking such a risk is so silly for the sake of a couple joints.
Just imagine the charges they could pin you with for sending drugs across state lines, etc. They do have dogs that check for that stuff too.
I'm sure plenty of people get away with it, but is it really worth the risk?

Just do it! I can send pot to your door without your prior knowledge just to try to land you in jail, but fact is the cops can't arrest you cuz I did that. If that were the case people would get baited like that all the time SSince they have no proof of who the sender was the receiver can't be held liable!

If they could arrest people for receiving anonymous packages people would be getting set up all the time. There is no way for them to prove who sent the package nor would they bother for a little bit of grass. The worst that would happen is that the package would be seized in customs.
I don't watch CSI at all, but if you are constantly sending packages filled with drugs to your own house address while you are away on vacation and you have a criminal record already, do you think that is not something you should take into consideration? I sure as hell would, especially considering how severe the penalties are for shipping drugs across state lines.

They are not going to pull fingerprints off an envelope that has been handled by an unknown number of people. That is pure TV.
I remember getting arrested once, and the cop tellinh me they were going to get fingerprints off the item he was holding in his hand. I said fine.
Come court time, they were asked the results of the fingerprint test. The response was that no prints were lifted and if we wanted prints taken off it I would have to pay for it to be done.

How far they go is probably going to depend on what you did and who you did it to.
A recent story comes to mind of a kid that was harassing a cop at his house repeatedly. Driving by calling him names, etc. One day he spit on his car, so he took a sample and had a DNA test done. The kid ended up with 210 days in jail.
Do what I did... Hollow out some candles, and keep the wax, vaccum seal whatever you want to ship back and stick it in the candle hole. Fill the hole back with the wax and send it to a friend.

I am sure there is more to the story or it is pure b.s.
I highly doubt a city is going to go thru the expense of a DNA test for spitting on a car. How would they even match up the DNA as being his?
Christina technically if he ships it to the US, and the feds do bust him it would be a 10 year minimum and not no five years. Though that just aint going to happen on small shipments unless they happen often.

I'm sure there is more to it, but if you listen after 1:20 in, the judge mentions the DNA evidence from all the snot he left on the cop's truck. I do find it funny that they would do a DNA test over vandalism.
