Grandma could of called protective services blah blah. I may be harsh and yes the child was young but come on. Odds dictate the kid would turn out like parents, then at 10 to 12 I am sure even most of you had the common sense that magic does not work and how to call for help if you need to. Yes parents were complete fucking idiots and well... They are now arrested.

Maybe I would feel bad if I knew the kid, then again if I knew the kid I would of reported their asses myself so alas catch 22.

I'm glad to see them get these charges put against them. A few weeks ago when I first saw this story the authorities in that area said they weren't not pressing charges and that they didn't feel the other kids in the house were in any danger. I'm glad someone saw differently and did something about it.

To me this is no different than if you smoke a bunch of crack and let your kid starve to death because you are to high to care.
