When is the last time you heard someone say "bigoted"?
When is the last time you heard someone say "prejudiced"?
30 years ago, you almost never heard someone call another "racist" as it had a very severe and clear meaning.
Saying in private, "don't bring African Americans to the game" isn't racist. Certainly not so when its shown 100% out of context. Saying "don't bring African Americans to the game because they aren't smart enough to find their seat because they are black" is racist.
