And by the way...for those of you who have never lived in the South...Sandy Springs is basically in Atlanta.
I lived in Atlanta for a few years...PLENTY of sex shops there to buy vibrators. The Trapeze swingers club is there. And it's the capital of the world for strip clubs.
Hardly the sexless, hung-up town that article is trying to paint it to be.
Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Smyrna, even Kennesaw are all pretty much part of Atlanta (you can't tell where one of them ends and Atlanta begins).

Not to mention there are a million websites where you can buy sex toys and have them shipped to you.
That said, I did read a story a while back about a small town in Texas that did an undercover sting operation to catch a woman who was selling sex toys at parties.
She would have parties at her house and show off the hardware to women and couples then take orders and sell them various sex toys. The local police department found out about it and sent a male and female officer undercover as a couple to one of the parties (not sure how they got invited) and they ended up arresting her when she delivered the items they had ordered. The reason was that she wasn't marketing them as a "novelty" item. Supposedly the law in that area is that they can only be sold if they are sold as a novelty and since she didn't stress that she got arrested.
I had to laugh. The town spent thousands of dollars on overtime pay and court costs to ultimately settle with her and have her pay a $200 fine. She is still in business, she is now just telling the customers that these are novelty items because God forbid someone might have an orgasm using one of them. lol.
