Yet ironically, people continually tell you that you're retarded. Possibly connected?
While correlation doesn't imply causation, it would be a good idea for us to look into the likelihood of a true causal relationship to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

In this poor example which is related in no way to statistics, correlation does imply causation being that "imply" means simply "suggests...", not "proves...". That is also then supported by your own concern that your confusion is not random or chance and that there is something which you need to change.

If we gather data on people who didn't know it was a Bank Holiday today, we will find Retards, Stroke Victims, Alzheimer's Patients, Alcoholics, People with Crap Memories, Normal People who Forgot, Weird People who Forgot, Drug Addicts, Porn Webmasters, Amish etc
Every year for the past umpteen decades this holiday hasn't changed. Yet every year there's a fresh crop of ____________'s (insert label of choice) who "didn't know".
Heads up: banks will also be closed on July 4th, Labor day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. (or Xmas to you heathens)
Glad it's not just me, in the US they have loads of Memorial Day propaganda which helps remind them, in the UK it's easier to forget, having said that I did remember 1 week ago that this was coming up, must have had a stroke since.

Just trying to save you some headaches.
Mine is a bit different as I did know and then didn't know
