    How Do These Servers Compare?

    How do these servers compare for the serving of a 90% plus pure HTML site.
    Very little script, very little images.

    IN THE RIGHT CORNER:

    Intel Core2 Quad 2.66 Ghz
    6 GB RAM
    320 GB HD
    100 MBPS Port


    IN THE LEFT CORNER:

    2 x XEON E5645 2.4GHz
    48GB RAM
    4 x 147GB SAS 15K RPM RAID 5/6/10 HW
    10000GB Traffic
    100Mbps Port Speed


    HD size is really inconsequential.

      Why would you use any of those servers for such a site? The second one is obviously better in general, but you could probably host that site on a 1-2gb server assuming you use *nix
