How to get existing memberz to new biller?

Lets pretend that I have a new billing processor that is saving me 7% or more on processing fees and I would like to get my existing customers from the old billerz? The old billerz never pay on time and is now raising rateZ (I won't throw them under the bus Is it best to just email members? Don't want to loose any sleeperz. Should I just leave it alone and build up new members with new biller?

Let's pretend that you have to start all over as if you had 0 member.

Good idea a one month hit is better than when this shady biller goes out of biz and you lose your rebills..my two cents

That and over time that hit will be made up by the % you will be saving with the new biller.

Any email of a biller change/new offer IMO serves as a reminder to cancel.

Instead email them offering them a new site with the new biller OR cut all members off at the expiry time and then only allow them to subscribe via the new biller.

( This is all presuming your current biller WONT pass the billing data to your new biller under PCI regulations....)

You can get encrypted list from old biller and transfer to new biller, unlikely since you are talking about you know who.

Soooo.... cancel all members, email all members with an incentive to rejoin. You *may* get 10% to rejoin, highly doubtful though

Since you are going we know where... go into the billing options and do a free join authorize. Your email will be received much better when you say FREE. You may hit that 10% that way.

You probably have all users/passwords stored in a htpasswd file or in a database. For each user you need to check when his/her subscription ends and then delete the account. The only real problem is with recurring subscriptions which have to be cancelled afaik.

Build members with new biller and as members from old billers cancel send them e-mail and offer them first month 50% off then a reduced rate, say 15-20% for life of their new membership as a "thank you for your continued wanking to our content".

I would just let it roll man. Put a new primary in place and watch your secondary biller go down. And then get a new secondary and tertiary biller.

Send an email to your affiliates.

Check if an mid makes more sense with your volume.

My thoughts exactly. I would only send an e-mail AFTER someone canceled from old biller.
Try to retain them with a good offer.

Let it roll, when a Member's subscription ends - either by canceling or naturally - send them an email saying how the site will now be operating with this new biller and here's a discount to join.

The transition will be a little messy but in a few months all should be fine. Good luck!!

I have lowered the price of the membership and I have cancelled 100 accounts - only 6 members joined the site again.

Just let the rebills die naturally.
