I think Tomas knows a sucker is born every minute.

I got some money today!

But of course...when I tried to move it from the account into Redpass...it didn't load as usual.

And now...if it's like the last 10 times in a row, it will be a week before someone answers my ticket and tells me they will "escalate" it with the bank. And then another 3 or 4 days before I ever get it.

I finally got paid yesterday. 1/6 overdue payments... Fingers crossed the rest arrive while I jump ship

Don't even bother with a ticket Robbie. Get them on live chat. They have pushed through my redpass for me.

I recommend you do not do that. That is just shooting yourself in the foot.


If the worst case scenario happens and Zombaio goes out of business and does not pay, then the worst thing which could happen is you do not get paid for those members at all and you tell them the truth about what happened to you and hopefully they re-join with another processor.

If you just cancel your members, then you definitely do not get paid for those members at all, unless maybe some re-join with another processor after you burned them, assuming you can get your password file correct.

The likely scenario is that Zombaio will pay you late.

Would you rather get something later than expected or nothing ever?

This says it all . We are all in the same industry here . If they did it to camdough they can do it to anyone . Just because they may have paid you in the past or present or even future does not mean they will not repeat what they have done with camdoughs' reserves to other people .It is not a witch hunt , It is what is happening , people they owe money to are not getting paid on time and some are never going to receive their money .They can make excuses all day long , but the facts are they are short on reserves and have spent more than they took in .Their old system did not produce them enough revenue so their new improved system is to charge less and hold the money longer .They have had camdoughs' reserves for over a year now . not $95 but $9500 .Emails to Tomas Anderson do not get a reply . Tomas Anderson is good on talking about how he will fix things , but he is not good on fixing things or paying his customers .

I got paid...

They owe me a mere $340 from earlier this month. Won't send me the damn wire. Luckily I use them for a dying site. So, my payouts trigger every 6 weeks or so. Of course I've made it a routine that when payout day hits, I open a ticket and begin hassling them for 4 weeks till I get my wire.

By the way here is a copy of the mass email they sent last weekend:

Dear Zombaio Client,

As I am sure you have noticed, we have been experiencing more problems than usual in paying out on time recently and many people have speculated (as they have done for years) that we are on the verge of going out of business.


Whilst we understand that many of you have lost money when other processors have gone out of business in the past, and that you understandably get nervous when payments are late, we want to assure you that our problems are temporary and a knock on effect of issues our main acquirer had with their USD settlement and exchange bank which meant that their settlements to us were quite significantly delayed.


We tried to keep things going as best as we could from our reserves during this period, but this caught us a little unaware, and it has taken time for us to straighten things out which I am pleased to say that we now have and we should be able to bring everybody''s settlements fully up to date during the course of next months.


We will however need to make changes ongoing if we are to avoid falling back in this hole. When we first came to the market we tried to give both the best rates and the fastest payouts and we now know that unless you have a much greater share of the market than we do, and a faster settlement than our acquirers are able to give us, this is quite an impossible model to sustain.


Consequently, we have decided to stop trying to be the cheapest AND the fastest and concentrate on being a reliable low cost processor which of course means we need to change our terms of business.


Rather than just giving people the choice of accepting our new terms or finding a new processor, we have decided to come up with 3 different pricing/settlement models that we are confident we can deliver ongoing and that we hope at least one of which is workable for your business.


The choices are as follows:


1. Monthly - settlement around 20th of the month for previous months transactions. 1.2% decrease in our normal fees
and usual 5% rolling reserve.

2. Bi-Weekly settlement periods. Paid out around 20 days after period end. We will continue to offer existing rates and
usual 5% rolling reserve.

3. Weekly settlements. Paid out around 20 days after period end. Normal rates increased by 3.5% and rolling reserve
increased to 10%


All of these options will continue to free of any annual card fees and it is our intention to switch to these new terms on 1st June.


Your account will by default be changed to the monthly payouts option with your processing rate automatically reduced by 1.2% but if you prefer to change to the bi-weekly payouts option at your existing rates or our weekly payouts option at the premium rate with the increase in reserve, all you have to do is logon to ZOA after 1st June and make the switch in "change banking details".


I very much regret that we have to make these changes, but I feel that going forward, it is important that you can count on Zombaio the way you used to be able to in the past.


Our interest in this business is long term, and whilst I accept that we have made mistakes in the past, a lot of these have come from us trying to improve the service that we offer. We were the first processor to offer settlement to a prepaid card, and we were the first to offer EU payment by ACH. It has not been without problems of course, but we will keep working on these things until the problems disappear.


In addition, we will shortly be adding some exciting new payment options for your customers. These include SEPA Debit, SOFORT banking and BitCoin. For CAM sites we will add a new API for card on file debits which we have been testing with very good results during the last few months.


We will continue to try new ideas, but in the future, we will try to do so without impacting on the efficiency of our core operation.


We really are sorry for any inconvenience and stress our unreliability recently has caused especially if you have reached out to Support or to me personally and not received the answer or action that you were looking for. I hope that you now understand a little better our situation and will give us a chance to earn back your trust over the coming months. If anything in this email is not clear or if you have any questions or comments, please let us know.

4 or 7 days before I ever get it

The delays are on purpose, it gives them a chance to try and catch up on the money they spent which wasn't theirs, same as the additional delays in payouts. Hard to pay what you have already spent.

I got 2 payouts last week. It's the 2nd there and they said on the 1st you'd be able to change your payout dates and would be moved to monthly? What ever happened with that?

These guys have clearly been insolvent for sometime. In some countries it is actually illegal to continue to trade when you are unable to settle your debts.

Given that only a fraction of their customer base will be gfy readers, and then given that losts of peeps will be too ashamed to actually voice their concerns, I would imagine that they need a considerable cash input to remain in business.

So they plan to increase their margin to return to profitability, even if they manage that it will be a long long time before they fix their balance sheet. If ever.

This is a billing processor. A steady flow of revenue that was pretty damn big.

To take people's money and use it on something else, fuck up your business, and end up ruined...that's like leaving tens of millions of dollars on the table.

If they had stuck to their original business plan, they would have continued to grow. And by now they would be on of the biggest in the adult industry.

And that revenue would have continued on for years and years.

Look at CC Bill. They are greedy as fuck. But they are also smart.

There is more money to be made over the long run than in doing something stupid like Zombaio has done.

Right now the situation doesnt look that bad.

Zombaio have sent me one week ago 2 out of the 6 late payouts, today I got another 2 payments and the last 2 have changed status from payout processed to payout cleared. Definetely zombaio got their shit together and they are working hard in order to fix the issue.

In my book anytime somebody fucks up or fucks with my money once, I don't give them a second chance to do it again. Why would I?

Other than the the no Visa/MC fee, this company has no upside and plenty of down.

Sounds like the battered wife syndrome. You'd be crazy to continue processing there, even if they somehow manage to get their act together, just to save the Visa and MasterCard reg fees... Talk about penny wise and pound foolish.

Welcome to Zombaio's new payment model they email you about, you will have to wait about 1 month before getting any payments, net 30-45 + this is for your payments that are already 2-3 weeks late.

Interestingly enough, they were paying me out faster before they said they were going to catch up on payments.

I remember when Zombaio started I asked them in a thread here on GFY if they would allow their clients to move their members to another processor (ie ccbill or epoch) they said they would.
Did anyone try doing that ? I'm sure other processors would be happy to assist with such transits.

A bunch of us tried and they don't respond.
