cant forget the moment it dawned on me, when I was in indonesia, it was hot and humid as FUCK and I was riding in this air conditioned bus when a pick up truck drove past me with like 20 field workers packed in the back like sardines...I will never forget the 20 seconds they spent next to me on the red light, each and every one of them had a big fat smile on his face, the days work was over and they were going home...it was amazing...it was bali it is buddhist and they do not lay great value on material possessions...the bus I was in was full of rich tourists but maybe 10% of the bus had a smile on their face...
its amazing to actually see it with your own eyes...knowing about something and seeing something is not the same...
living with poor people by the sea is usually the quickest way to find personal happiness

Well i could imagine myself living on some isolated place with hot wife and no money,producing food by myself.But it seems it is kind a hard to get such scenario in modern world.
